1. General

By registering for the Weld Australia National Manufacturing Summit (“Event”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. These terms apply to all attendees, speakers, sponsors, and exhibitors.

Weld Australia reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any updates will be published on the official Event website.

  1. Registration & Payment
  • All registrations must be completed via the official registration platform.
  • Payment must be received in full at the time of registration unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Registration is only confirmed once payment has been successfully processed and a confirmation email has been issued.
  1. Cancellation & Refund Policy

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to Weld Australia. 

Refund terms:

  • Cancellations made more than 90 days prior to the Event will receive a full refund of the registration fee.
  • Cancellations made between 90 and 60 days prior to the Event will receive a 50% refund of the registration fee.
  • Cancellations made within 60 days of the Event are non-refundable.
  • Refunds (where applicable) will be processed within 30 days of approval.
  • Any transaction or administrative fees may be deducted from refunds.
  1. Substitutions
  • Delegate substitutions are permitted at no additional cost.
  1. Event Changes & Cancellation
  • Weld Australia reserves the right to modify the Event program, speakers, venue, or dates if necessary.
  • Weld Australia is not responsible for any additional costs incurred by attendees (including, but not restricted to travel and accommodation).
  1. Attendance & Conduct
  • Delegates are expected to behave professionally and respectfully at all times.
  • Weld Australia reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any attendee whose behaviour is deemed inappropriate, disruptive, or unsafe.
  • No refund will be provided in such circumstances.
  1. Photography & Media
  • By attending the Event, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded.
  • Weld Australia may use this material for promotional and marketing purposes without compensation or prior approval.
  1. Intellectual Property
  • All content presented at the Event (including presentations, materials, and recordings) remains the intellectual property of Weld Australia or the respective presenters.
  • Attendees may not record, reproduce, or distribute content without prior written consent.
  1. Privacy
  • Personal information collected during registration will be used for Event administration and communication purposes.
  • Information may be shared with Event partners or sponsors unless the attendee opts out.
  • Weld Australia will handle personal data in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
  1. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Weld Australia is not liable for:

  • Any loss, damage, or injury suffered by attendees during the Event
  • Any indirect or consequential losses
  • Attendees participate at their own risk.
  1. Force Majeure

Weld Australia will not be liable for any delay or cancellation caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, or industrial action.

  1. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the relevant state or territory.
